It starts at eight and finishes at one. I have a dentist appointment at ten thirty.
I see. I’m working Friday evening from four until nine.
Would you be able to work both shifts?
Probably not. I have to leave early that afternoon because I’m meeting my manager at two.
Right. I forgot about that meeting.
Could we swap instead? You take my evening shift, and I take your morning one.
That could work. My appointment should finish before noon.
Would you have enough time to get here by four?
Yes. The dentist is nearby, and I can come home before work.
