We need to plan Daniel’s birthday dinner for Saturday. Have you invited everyone?
Not yet. I’m going to message the guests tonight. Should we choose the restaurant first?
Yes. Daniel likes Bella Roma, but the Garden Café has better vegetarian choices.
That matters because Priya doesn’t eat meat. The Garden Café is probably better.
Agreed. We should book soon because Saturday evenings are busy.
Who’s going to call the restaurant?
I’ll do it during lunch tomorrow.
Great. Ask for a table for eight people.
They have tables at six thirty and eight. Which time should I request?
Not eight. Daniel’s parents are leaving early because they have a long drive home.
Then I’ll reserve the table for six thirty.
Perfect. I’m going to invite Priya, Lucas, Emma, and Daniel’s parents.
I’ll invite Clara and Ben. That makes eight people with us.
Right. What about the cake?
The bakery near my office makes good chocolate cakes, but I can’t collect one.
I’ll take care of the cake. I can order it tomorrow and pick it up Saturday.
Thanks. Ask them to write ‘Happy Birthday, Daniel’ on it.
No problem. You’ll reserve the restaurant, and I’ll handle the invitations and cake.
